Orfelia is a Beirut-based studio that produces bespoke lighting and home objects.
The studio is also currently extending its activities to include bathroom accessories such as hooks, hangers, organizers and lighting, mixing wood and metal in innovative practical solutions.
The studio manufactures primarily on demand to the trade, with the possibility of producing unique and limited series but is equally happy to sell directly to individuals.
Most of the models featuring are customizable in terms of color, shape and material used.
Each of Orfelia studio's organic creations is a highly delicate and elegant piece, that will adorn interiors like a sculpture during the day, and shed a soft magical light on your evenings.
Pascale Sabri, art director of the Orfelia studio, is a self-made artisan who left a career in the Media and Communications
to devote herself to her dreams and family.
She learnt to love wood, iron, clay and electricity from her mining engineer grand-father, in whose atelier she spent
countless hours helping and learning from childhood in the northern French city of Creutzwald.
Pascale is married to surgeon Dr. Alain Sabri, together they have a daughter and live in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dominique Khoury is the head craftsman at the Orfelia studio. He is a multi-talented artisan with wide experience in welding,
wood working, various kinds of artisnal techniques dealing with concrete, plaster, moulding and others.
Dominique studied agriculture and has a career in landscaping, raising and managing an organic farm and a winery,
as well as managing an artisanal workshop. He also makes amazing indoors and outdoors suspended gardens and walls.
Dominique is married to Elisabeth Lemai and together they have 3 wonderful daughters.
